On 06 April, Jean-Michel Vauthier, Marketing Director of BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, handed over the “smart agriculture” prize to ConnectAgri for their tool that allows to calculate the costs of agricultural mechanization.
The SidO, the largest international showroom dedicated to the Internet of Things, took place in Lyon, France on 5 and 6 April 2017. Each year, the fair brings together more than 250 exhibitors, 200 speakers, 100 start ups and 6,500 visitors.
On this occasion, L’Usine Digitale, the digital transformation media, organized the IoT Trophy that reward the innovations in IoT in 6 different categories: smart city, smart home, smart mobility, smart agriculture, smart energy and smart health.
BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, n°1 in Europe in agriculture machinery financing, has naturally chosen to sponsor the “smart agriculture” award. So, Jean-Michel Vauthier, Marketing Director, presented this award to ConnectAgri on April 6th for their solution “Karnott”.
Karnott is a tool that automatically and simply calculates the use of each machine. Farmers who share their tools can automatically calculate the use of each machine through analysis reports that provide them with accounts of the use of the equipment by each co-owner.
